Jazz Advocate
with help from WDPS Radio, Park-N-Go Airport Parking, Kroger, Jazz
Central and the Dayton Pizza Factory will produce their seventh and
final
benefit concert of the year for the Gabriel Foundation to attain funds for
musical instruments for area youth. On Saturday, December 15th the
ShinSings Orchestra will perform from 8pm to 11pm at Jazz Central 2931 E, 3rd St. in Dayton, Ohio. Tickets, some of
which will be given away on WDPS 89.5-FM Radio, are $10 at the door.
Since this is the last week of the last Gabriel Benefit concert this
year, we are selling online tickets at half price. There will be door prizes and pizza
will be available during the
event, so come out, have fun and be entertained while helping us for this worthy cause!

On Saturday, August 11th.
World-class jazz saxophonist, composer, bandleader recording studio
musician and educator Gene Walker will perform a benefit concert for
the Gabriel Foundation. Gene will be joined by Linda Dachtyl (B3
organ) and Cary Dachtyl (drums) from Columbus and Michael Kotur
(guitar) from Dayton.
This event is sponsored by WDPS-FM, Jazz Central, Jazz Advocate and
the South Park Tavern.
