Help us promote Jazz join the Jazz
Advocate Community,,,,,,
Who we are and what we do:
Jazz Advocate is a 501 c3 non-profit organization with
the simple mandate of supporting local area jazz artists and using jazz as
a tool to bring our community together.
1. We publish a website and newsletter as a free
service to inform
the public of jazz and
community events.
2. We produce a yearly jazz and arts festival as an
annual coming
together for the Dayton
neighborhoods to promote their
individual agendas.
3. We are working with the Dayton School System to
promote
jazz on their WDPS 89.5-FM
radio station and to help them
generate funds to move their
programming up to twenty-four
hours per day.
4. We collaborate with many local organizations to use
jazz as a
tool to attract the public to
their events by lining up and
subsidizing jazz groups.
|

|
We need your financial
support to carry our four areas of endeavor forward so we may
accomplish our stated mandate. |
|
If you're like me and want to
help keep Jazz alive, here's your chance, we
ask you to become
a Jazz Advocate member at $10.00/year. In addition we ask voluntary donations
of any size to help support the four programs listed above. We offer the use of this website, for
members and non-members, as a way to help support our local jazz artists in
the Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus areas and
to help bring the people in these communities together. |
