Clay told me that this induction event was probably the biggest ceremony
that would happen to him next to his funeral, and since he wouldn't be
around to enjoy that, he decided to have a party. And a party it was,
it was held in the beautiful Ware Banquette Center complete with drink and
food. On top of that they brought the Grammy nominated jazz vocalist
Betty Joplin along with her great back-up group from Detroit. Rosemary
and I enjoyed the party so much and wish to thank Clay and Debra for
inviting us to share in a wonderful moment in their life. - Ron Gable |
