     Hi Ron, Merry Christmas to you and Rosemary...
Recently, you and I were both wandering about Vaughn Wiester's Famous Jazz Orchestra Monday night gigs in Columbus, so I did a bit of checking earlier this week, and drove over to see the band this past Monday evening.  I'm happy to report he and the band are still going strong, the venue is still the Columbus Maennerchor (pronounced manor-core), at 966 South High St in Columbus.  They play from 7:30-11 pm every Monday evening, $10 cover (students $5), have ample parking, cash bar, and the ballroom they are in is very nice.  The band sounds great, and there's usually a surprise guest musician or vocalist with the band.   I'm glad to see this fun Monday evening tradition continue.
